CHELSEA TV EXCLUSIVE: DE BRUYNE ON DEBUT
A season and a half after he signed for
Chelsea, Kevin De Bruyne was given his
chance to play in front of the Stamford
Bridge crowd on Sunday, and following
the 2-0 win over Hull he spoke to Chelsea
TV .
The 22-year-old, who has been on loan at
former club Genk and then in Germany at
Werder Bremen since his transfer, spoke
about the opening goal he helped create,
the difference between the first and
second halves, and how it felt to play in
front of the Chelsea fans. The full
interview is available now via the
channel's online access
and a clip can be viewed above.
Speaking separately after the match, De
Bruyne also said:
'It was a good start, especially the first
half we began very sharp with a lot of
pressing and we scored two nice goals.
The second half was a little worse but it
was a mature game by us and we didn't
concede a goal so it was good.
'The Premier League is a high level, of
course it will be difficult to win all our
games, but we will do our best and we
have to do it as a team like in this game,
and then we will be alright.'
